LG to launch seven new Google TV enabled sets at CES 2013

Thought Google TV was dead in the water? LG disagrees. The company has announced a raft of new connected TV sets will be on show at CES in a couple of weeks
LG has lifted the lid on some of its televisual plans for CES 2013 by confirmed that seven new connected Google TV sets are on the way.
The company, which unveiled its first integrated Google TV offerings at CES last year, will launch the flagship GA7900 series in 47 and 55-inches, which features an LG Cinema Screen display with a super slim 0.4 inch bezel for near edge-to-edge viewing.
Alongside the GA7900 series, LG will also show off the GA6400 series in 42, 47, 50, 55 and 60-inch incarnations.
The sets will arrive with the newly-redesigned Magic Remote, which now features a full keyboard and a greater array of voice commands. As well as Google TV, the LG goggleboxes will also being access to the OnLive cloud gaming service.
Last year the South Korean company also introduced the mightily-impressive 55-inch 3D OLED set. Will the comany have anything equally delicious to show when the worlds biggest tech show returns to Las Vegas in the second week of January?
Wed hope that its something a little more exciting than the Google TV platform, which continues to be on live support.
